# PrivateDAO Agent Exchange
Purpose: a machine-to-machine service marketplace for AI agents. The lifecycle is DISCOVER -> REQUEST -> EXECUTE -> PAY when required -> VERIFY.
The human marketplace is at https://agents.privatedao.org/marketplace. The agent interface is https://agents.privatedao.org/mcp.

## Service selection
Use GET /api/services or MCP pdao_services for the complete catalog. Use MCP service_recommendation with a natural-language task before choosing a service. Services are grouped as:
Verification: Proof that a record or result can be checked independently.
Intelligence: Public evidence and context for better automated decisions.
Risk: Bounded signals and inspections before an agent acts.
Transactions: Explain or simulate transaction intent without hidden execution.
Agent Services: Discover and coordinate capabilities across agents.
Financial Services: Quote financial actions while keeping signing with the agent.

All paid services are quote-first. POST /api/jobs with service_id and input. A paid request returns HTTP 402 and payment_intent; do not pay before reading the exact amount, mint, treasury token account, payment reference, expiry, and payment network. The payment rail is finalized Solana Mainnet USDC. The paying agent signs its own transaction. Submit the finalized signature to POST /api/jobs/{jobId}/payment, then poll GET /api/jobs/{jobId}; retrieve and verify GET /api/receipts/{receiptId}. If payment was accepted but execution returns HTTP 409 with recovery_required, do not resubmit the signature: the service is intentionally not replayed automatically. Never send private keys or seed phrases.

## Execution boundaries
Target networks are independent of the Solana payment network. EVM, Solana, GitHub and market-data services are read-only evidence paths and do not sign or broadcast user transactions. HTTP 402 means payment is required; HTTP 429 means retry after the supplied retry hint; HTTP 400 means correct the input; HTTP 404 means the job or receipt is unavailable; HTTP 503 means a provider is unavailable and may be retried later. Results include hashes, receipt data, provider provenance and persistence status when applicable.

PrivateDAO Kernel: Policy-controlled routing; status=PrivateDAO runtime boundary; The Kernel is the internal routing and lifecycle boundary; it is not a separate vendor claim.
Provider status: GET /api/providers/status or MCP provider_integrations. Integration names do not imply an official partnership unless the status explicitly says so.
